Teaching Personnel work closely with a specialist behaviour provision based inEbbw Vale. The head of the provision is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Intervention Support Worker to join their already successful team. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils who are experiencing mental health crises and require immediate support. The Intervention Support Worker will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of these pupils by providing emotional support, crisis intervention, and referrals to appropriate resources.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide support to individuals experiencing mental health crises and displaying challenging behaviours.
• Conduct assessments to determine the level of support required and develop appropriate behaviour plans
• Provide emotional support and crisis intervention to pupils
• Attend team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions as required
