Your new role National Highways are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer to join our Highways Improvements Team in the Southwest. The successful candidate will have an excellent opportunity to work in a multi-disciplinary role where they will lead on improvement schemes and initiatives that will directly affect those who use and live alongside the Strategic Road Network (SRN). Using your expert engineering knowledge and experience in developing highway infrastructure improvement schemes, you will develop solutions to address identified need on the road network. You will use your strong technical knowledge to develop business cases and designs that improve customers journey times, reliability, safety, facilities and reduce severance etc. As the South West technical lead for improvement schemes, you will work collaboratively with both internal and external partners and stakeholders.
