The Yukon Human Rights Commission is looking for someone with a human rights background to join our team as a Senior Investigator.

You will play a key role in fulfilling the inquiry and complaint processes mandated by the Yukon Human Rights Act, the Regulations and our policies, as well as promoting the implementation of leading practices, supporting our team of Human Rights Officers, and addressing complex inquiries and complaints.

We are looking for someone with 1-3 years of human rights and/or legal experience, as well as solid communication and problem-solving skills. Your principal responsibilities will be:
• Model trauma-informed, discrete, respectful, fair, consistent and sound human rights inquiry, complaint review and complaint investigation practices.
• Provide guidance, training, supervision and monitoring of human rights inquiries, intake of complaints and investigations.
