South Bruce Grey Health Centre (SBGHC) is currently accepting applications for Temporary Nurse Externs. This externship is to support the transition of new nurses and International Educated Nurses (IEN’s) into the clinical work environment and is a partnership in which SBGHC supports the Extern’s growth, development, and learning.

This opportunity is estimated to be 12-18 months with the possibility of an extension. The successful applicants will be required to work at all four sites (Chesley, Durham Walkerton, and Kincardine) and will report to the Patient Care Manager at their main site. Depending on staffing needs, the Extern’s scheduled location may be shifted to ensure operational needs are being met. Re-deployment to any site may also be required on short notice.
