The Service Manager takes - within his/her specific domain - care of the ITIL sub- domains.

The service manager is accountable and responsible for the delivery for one or more service(s) on THE ENTIRE LIFECYCLE. This lifecycle includes the stage of the STRATEGY, DESIGN, TRANSITION, OPERATIONS and CONTINUAL IMPROVEMENTS. To accomplish this accountability and responsibility, this function is divided in several ROLES supported by a lot of PROCESSES in the different stages.

Requirements- Knowledge and complexity
• Knowledge level Bachelor or equivalent through experience
• Relevant work experience of 8-10 years
• Working-in period of 6 months
• Extensive knowledge of SLA management
• Thorough knowledge of Service Management in the assigned domain
