Job Summary
• To ensure that invoices from suppliers are recorded accurately in accordance with applicable supply contracts and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• To ensure that invoices from and payments to suppliers are recorded promptly in the appropriate accounting period and in accordance with standard operating procedures and laws and regulations
• To ensure that payments to vendors are matched to invoices from vendors accurately and promptly
• To support cash cycle conversion optimisation initiatives by monitoring overdue payables, improving AP days and reconciling periodically payable balances due to suppliers
• To assist the Head of Accounts Payable Section in other day-to-day operations of accounts receivable section.
