Performs difficult technical and administrative work managing, planning, and supervising operations and activities involving the management of county properties and facilities, including buildings, grounds, and fleet/equipment maintenance. Responsible for activities related to capital construction projects, building maintenance, lighting, HVAC, etc. Provides communication and coordination between these services and the County Manager and Administration, Board of County Commissioners and other directors and county staff. Work is performed under the guidance of the County Manager. Departmental supervision is exercised over all personnel and functions within the county’s public buildings.
