The Department of Social Sciences at Mississippi Valley State University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor Level for an exceptionally qualified candidate holding a terminal degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, Political Science or a closely related field.The successful candidate will be able to teach core curriculum graduate courses in the Master of Arts in Rural Public Policy and Planning program, as well as undergraduate courses in public administration and political science. A successful candidate should have a commitment to excellence in research, teaching, service. Familiarity with the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA) accreditation processes and willingness to participate fully in the Rural Public Policy program’s efforts in seeking accreditation will be an added advantage.
