The Department of Corrections, Division of Pretrial, Probation and Parole, is recruiting for a Criminal Justice Technician 1/2 position located in Kodiak, Alaska.

What you will be doing:

The Criminal Justice Technician I/II provides paraprofessional services to one (1) Adult Probation/Parole Supervisor and one (1) Pretrial Services Supervisor for the Kodiak Adult Probation/Pretrial Office. The duties include, but are not limited to: coding and tracking bills and payments utilizing the State of Alaska accounting system; opening new defendant files and maintaining files in accordance with policy and procedure; filing administrative documents and invoices; entering chronological notes and defendant information into the Department's offender management system; updating defendant database records on an ongoing basis with current information for all defendant's who are actively supervised; utilizing...
