If you have answered yes to all three of these questions, then Southend Mencap would be interested to hear from you regarding our new position that has become available. Southend Mencap supports the needs and interests of people with learning disabilities, as well as those of their parents and carers, in the south-east of Essex. Two of our most in demand projects are our Advocacy and Family Support services. Both have been in operation for over 20 years but due to the significant increase in demand for them, we now find it necessary to introduce a new role that will oversee the Advocacy and Family Support projects.
