Job summary

As a band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be a visible personality on the ward who is able to take control of situations and manage the general day to day running of the ward, in the ward manager's absence. You will need to be approachable and supportive to all staff and be able to offer advice and guidance when needed. You will lead by example and support junior staff to maintain the ward's high standards.

We currently have vacancy for a permanent band 6 position on ward 23- General Medicine.

We are seeking an innovative, highly motivated forward thinking nurse who has the ability to manage a busy ward on a daily basis using expert clinical knowledge and judgement whilst providing support to staff.
