Dealing with all aspects of Multi Modal forwarding function within the department and providing support to other branches, being an effective contributor.

Business

To deal with all aspects of International and Domestic freight movements in support of the Operations team

To act as a conduit between customers and suppliers to ensure all needs are met within the specified delivery times.

To create customs declarations in line with HMRC and current legislation ensuring compliance in the process

To ensure COD payments are collected prior to movement/delivery of goods.

To liaise with overseas offices for shipment movements, taking responsibility for monitoring progress and keeping the customer advised of the status.

Providing lead information to other offices in the UK where relevant

To perform any other duties not defined in the job description as reasonably requested / expected by the Company
