Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Social Services Director, the Mental Health Counsellor shall be responsible to provide individual and family counselling to community. You will be expected to deliver a wide range of prevention programs and work cooperatively with other service providers to design and carry out action/care plans for clients. The Mental Health Counsellor will also act quickly to resolve any individual or family crisis and provide concrete assistance to clients.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s level degree in one of the Human Services or a two-year Community College diploma in the area of Social Services.
• Minimum of two years’ experience working in the area of individual and/or family counselling.
