The incumbent contributes to the development of quality programs in the nursing department. The incumbent promotes quality improvement through effective planning of various initiatives and the achievement of quality objectives to enhance quality of life, and follows up on the evaluation of care plans for residents assigned to the rehabilitation program. She is responsible for ensuring that information entered into the POC (Point of Care) program is up-to-date and accurate, and for providing support to the quality improvement teams. She is called upon to support the nursing team, to participate in the identification of care indicators and objectives, and to plan initiatives that will enable the nursing team to reinforce the delivery of quality care.
