We are pleased to be able to advertise a unique opportunity to join Angus Independent Advocacy (AIA) as the Chair of our Board of Directors.

This is a wonderful opportunity to play a pivotal role in leading our developing organisation, and to support us to fulfil our vision of ensuring that every voice matters.

Accountable to: Board of Directors

Role Purpose: To take a lead role in furthering the work of Angus Independent Advocacy in line with its charitable objectives.

General responsibilities as a Director:
• To ensure that AIA complies with its governing document, charity law, company law and any other relevant legislation or regulations.
• To ensure AIA applies its resources exclusively in pursuance of its objects (the charity must not spend money on activities which are not included in its own objects, no matter how worthwhile or charitable those activities are).
