Engineering Manager (Food Manufacturing)

A leading FMCG Food Manufacturer is currently seeking a Departmental Engineering Manager to join their team, This will be a 6month contract but could be extended.

This role will lead a large engineering team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and look at process improvements.

Engineering Manager responsibilities include:
• Ensure Delivery of the engineering support across a 24/7 manufacturing site daily, support and coach engineering teams in meeting department standards.
• Support the positive development of the site HS & E culture, promote ownership, ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements within area of control.
• Delivery of the site engineering strategy. Manage and deliver to agreed KPI’s. Strive to achieve ‘best in class’ standards.
• Lead, motivate, coach others, delegating effectively to develop a sense of pride and ownership in team performance and engineering strategy.
