We are on the lookout for Children's Social Workers in Exeter and Torquay to join the Devon Council assessment team, working to support children and young people. This is a fantastic opportunity to build meaningful and positive relationships with the community and work closely with them to achieve positive outcomes. This role is advertised at £44p/h
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Safeguarding children and young people at risk
Taking a strength based approach
Gathering sufficient information from service users, informal networks and other agencies to provide a holistic assessment of needs
To formulate and produce outcome-focused plans with clear aims and objectives
Ensuring all necessary referrals are made to the relevant teams
Identifying community and other natural sources of support, maximising strengths within families and communities using preventative/universal services.
Attending court as directed, and compiling and presenting relevant evidence
