We are currently working with a manufacturing business in Telford who are looking for a Transport Coordinator to join their team. Day to day you will be responsible for planning the transportation of goods throughout the UK to customers, liaising with third party transport companies, and keeping internal systems and records up to date.

The Transport Coordinator will be responsible for:
• Route planning for the fleet of vehicles throughout the UK
• Liaising with third party logistics companies
• Updating the company MRP/ERP system and keeping accurate records
• Communicating with drivers regarding collections and deliveries
• Providing load sheets for internal departments
• Liaising with customers on delivery dates, collections, and delivery status

Skills and Experience:
• Previous experience within a transport or logistics focused role
• Experience using MRP/ERP system
• Good communication skills
