Job Title: Junior Accountant

Salary: Circa £25,000

Location: St Albans

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm (with 1 hour lunch break)

Our client are an independent accounting firm who support a variety of different businesses. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a supportive and professional team, who will provide ongoing training and development. This would be an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate or someone who is studying towards a qualification - e.g AAT

Skills Required
• Good education background - Minimum 5 GCSES and 3 A Levels (or equivalent)
• Excellent communication skills
• Good attention to details.
• Willingness to learn.
• Competent with MS Packages including Excel.

Responsibilities
• Carry out accounting tasks across different areas.
• Bookkeeping
• VAT Returns, Corporation Tax Returns & Personal Tax Returns.
• Statutory Accounts
• Other support on an ad-hoc basis
