Buyer

Roles and Responsibilities:

Place and process purchase orders
Work closely with other departments to ensure all deliveries are on time
Keep all transactional systems up to date
Carry out weekly stock checks for consumable parts and place orders
Facilitate purchase orders
Maintain relationships with suppliers, actioning acknowledgements, discrepancies, and assist with supplier review meeting
Support the Strategic Purchasing Team in generating purchase price variance (PPV) reports in line with business requirements
Monitor market pricing and identify areas of opportunity and cost savings
Ensure compliance with our standards and approvals and any customer specific requirements are flowed down through the supply chain including exports/imports and ITAR requirements
