Our client, a manufacturing company located in Port Colborne, ON, is looking for a 2nd Class Shift Engineer to join their team.

What you will do in this role:
• Operate the Co-generation safely and efficiently, including reacting to emergency situations..
• Perform general maintenance & repair activities.
• Assist with support functions including Co-product processing, Wastewater treatment and other interdepartmental needs.
• Record, maintain, review, and reconcile process data.
• Engaging in Continuous process improvement
• Operate the Co-generation safely and efficiently, including reacting to emergency situations.

What you will bring to the role:
• 2nd Class Station Engineer
• Strong knowledge of gas turbine co-generation and plant air systems
• Strong knowledge of TSSA
• Understanding of continuous improvement concepts (5S and Kaizen)
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a similar industry, including routine maintenance.
