The research work involves analytical and finite element modelling of Carbon Nanotube based windings of Axial Flux permanent magnet motors. It is envisaged to obtain the electromagnetic parameters of this motor from 3D finite element analysis. Based on the forces obtained from the finite element analysis, a vibro-acoustic analysis is expected to be carried-out.

Required Qualifications: Masters degree in Engineering/Technology in Electrical Engineering (particularly in electrical machines and drives) or Bachelors degree in Engineering/Technology in Electrical Engineering with minimum 2 years experience (after B.E./B.Tech.)

Desirable: Experience in Maxwell 3D/MagNet 3D/Flux 3D, AUTOCAD, SolidWorks.

Monthly salary: Rs. 43,660/- per month including HRA. Campus accommodation is not available.
