Job summary

Due to internal promotion we have an opportunity for an RGN to join our hospital Baldock Manor, on a fixed term contractbasis. The role of the Practice Nurse is to work as an effective member of the Multi-Disciplinary team, promote the best interests of the patients and carers and ensure that prescribed nursing care is effectively implemented.

Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Main duties of the job
• Carrying out physical examinations and investigatory procedures (triage)
• Chronic health conditions management;
• Venepuncture
• Requesting pathology tests
• ECGs
• New patient medicals/urinalysis
• Assist and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by senior nursing staff;
• Ear Syringing
• Removal of sutures and wound management
