Job Description

Under the direction of the program manager and working within an interdisciplinary mental health and addiction team, the Community Mental Health Nurse, in adherence to nursing practice standards, will provide a range of clinical services to a population of children, youth and families living with acute and persistent mental health disorders. The Community Mental Health Nurse will be accountable for the provision of screening, assessment, referral, case management, treatment, as well as, program development and evaluation.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Psychiatric Nursing
• Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan (RPNAS)
