This is a remote position.
• Our Client is looking for HL7 Mapping SME, and they will support the PLIS FHIR API project is to modernize the integration of sending and viewing lab results between source lab information systems (LIS)/ clinical viewers (ie CareConnect/UCI) and the Provincial Lab Information Solutions (PLIS).
• This project involves the analysis and mapping of inbound HL7 V2 Lab messages to the HL7 FHIR messaging standards.

Requirements

A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a degree in Project Management, Health Administration, Business Administration, Information Management or a related discipline
• At least three (5) years LIS HL7 Version 2.0 experience or total of seven (7) years of HL7 experience required
• Demonstrated hands on knowledge of HL7 FHIR is required
• The following experience or qualifications will be strongly seen as an asset:
• At least three (3) years experience working with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
