As a Corrections Officer, you will be responsible for the safety, security, and supervision of inmates in the Cumberland County Jail in Portland, Maine. You will also be responsible for monitoring and enforcing regulations, managing inmates' behavior, and providing guidance and support. Cumberland County will pay you (Starting pay of $25.44/hr to $28.12/hr, depending on experience) to certify as a Maine corrections officer; no experience is necessary for this exciting opportunity!
