Planning and Environmental Coordinator

This position serves as a Planning and Environmental Coordinator in a Bureau of Land Management Field Office in Medford and Klamath Falls, Oregon. The purpose of this position is to provide interpretation, guidance, program leadership, and implementation for the development of major planning efforts such as Resource Management Plans (RMPs) and Environmental Impact Statements (EISs).

Salary Range for GS-11: $72,553 - $94,317

Salary Range for GS-12: $86,962 - $113,047Plans, leads/supervises, coordinates and implements resource management planning activities in the field and ensures that RMP/EIS documentation meets prescribed quality standards and is in compliance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) regulations and Departmental and Bureau guidelines.

Develops planning schedules and public participation plans to guide the Field Office's planning process.
