Job Description

THE JOB AT A GLANCE:

To plan, organize and control the activities in the Intake department, site pest control & bran and chop scheduling and schedule management

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Manage weighbridge and scale calibrations aligned to the National Regulator for Compulsory specifications (NRCS) and Trade Metrology Act;

Manage equipment services, calibration certificates and breakdown history;

Preventative maintenance in place and in line with DMS schedules;

Budgeting, motivation and implementation of Capital Expenditure and Major Repairs & Maintenance projects;

Develop and manage departmental Five Year Facility Plan;

Manages grain receipt and stock movement;

Co-ordinates and manages daily, weekly and monthly stock counts;

Declares and reconciles wheat & maize stocks;

Identifies, investigates and resolves stock variances;

Compiles and manages grain orders and off-loading to ensure no demurrage changes are incurred;
