Senior Product Manager / Category Manager

Introduction

South Africa's premier supplier of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Cleaning Chemicals, Paper Products, Industrial Consumable Supplies and Workwear is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join their successful team.

Scope:

Responsible for all aspects of category/product management, including identification of product from supplier, sourcing and successfully bringing the product to market and ensuring product profitability and ROI.

The primary category would be PPE excluding hand protection but immensely focused on but not limited to Workwear and footwear.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Achieve and exceed targeted turnover/ Achieve forecast unit sales
• Work closely with Regional GM’s to align on relevant product market fit
• Successful launch of new products, increasing the ratio of sales of new products
