Essex County Council (ECC) are delighted to be supporting Basildon Council to recruit into their temporary Parks and Countryside Warden role.

Please note, this role is full-time on a temporary contract until 30/09/2024.

Working hours:36.25 per week; 07:30am - 15:30pm,

The role
• To assist the Countryside Supervisor in improving public appreciation and appropriate use of the countryside whilst protecting and enhancing the more sensitive ecological areas.
• The Parks and Countryside Warden is employed full time but will need to work hours according to the needs of the service.

Duties
• To work as part of a team or alone undertaking all maintenance and repairs within Countryside Services as set out within the department's management plans
