Locums First is currently in search of a Locum Housing Solicitor to fill a position in Lochmaddy.

Our client is an esteemed full-service practice recognized in the Legal 500, known for its approachability and contemporary ethos. They are seeking a Locum to join their team on a rolling contract spanning 3 to 6 months, offering flexibility in terms of both full-time and part-time schedules.

Responsibilities: The role encompasses a variety of tasks including:
• Managing approximately 200+ cases collaboratively with a Caseworker and Legal Assistant.
• Serving as the primary Solicitor for Housing Disrepair cases, emphasizing effective client representation.
• Handling all facets of legal work related to housing disrepair and litigation.
• Supervising housing disrepair cases from pre-litigation through litigation stages.
• Overseeing Section 82 Environmental Protection Act 1990 cases.
