Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sales tax function within the Emerson Global Financial Services, which includes US sales tax reporting, tax accruals and payments, and account reconciliations. This role supports the Record to Report Manager managing a team of specialists. PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Preparation of monthly sales/use/property tax reports Assessment of sales and income tax accruals Support the work of tax specialists within the team to complete required objectives Tracking of accounting activities related to taxes area Oversee and approve tax reconciliations within the function and ensure accuracy Coordinate monthly/quarterly/annually tax returns for business units Monitor the related open items and prepare the required action plans to close them.
