The Deep River and District Hospital (DRDH) is seeking Hospitalist coverage for the following weeks:

• July 26 – August 1, 2024

• August 30 – September 5, 2024

• October 25 – 31, 2024

• November 22 – 28, 2024

• December 6 – 12, 2024

The Hospitalist’s primary duties are to provide care and services for all hospital in-patients while working alongside our multi-disciplinary team. The Hospitalist is the most responsible physician (MRP) for up to 16 to 18 patients on the medical unit. DRDH has 16 medical in-patient beds, 2 of which are monitored beds, and the possibility to surge up to 18 patients if required. As the Hospitalist, you are the sole physician responsible for the patients on the medical unit between 0600-2300 hrs, with the Emergency Department physician covering patients overnight.
