Role Summary To provide nursing care to patients on dialysis treatment.To assist the Head Nurse / Staff Nurse In-Charge in the running of the dialysis centre.Accountabilities: Prime dialyzer and bloodlinesRecord patient's medical information and vital signsMake ready of dialysis equipmentOversees dialysis treatment from start to finishCannulate accesses & catheter dressing upon completion of Privileging (LP 007,012 & 014)Demonstrate the abilities to administer medications including thrombolyticIdentifies irregular dialysis reaction and notify to appropriate team membersTo ensure blood investigations are carried out on schedule or as instructed by the doctor.All blood results to be charted and filed.Any abnormalities of the results should be notified to doctor immediately.To ensure patients' medical files are updated at all times.All prescriptions and doctor's notes are filed accordingly.To inform the Head Nurse of any defective medical equipment, incidents and complaints.To hand over...
