Experience: 3 + years of professional experience as a Textile designer

This position requires thorough understanding of Textile design with minimum 1+ years experience as a Home Textiles Designer.

Job Description:

To conceptualize and design Soft Home Furnishing products like, Decorative Cushions, Bedspreads, Curtains, Throws, Table Linen etc.

Work proficiently on computers to design and make CADS with Adobe Photoshop, etc.

Forecast colours, trends and designs for export markets. Create samples with tailors and other crafts persons.

Requirement:

Textile Design Graduates from National Institute of Design (NID) or National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) or IIHT.

Should be able to understand buyer s requirements, prepare samples / product development and ensure that it is done timely.

Should be a good organizer, proactive willing team player having an eye for detail and an even temperament.

Have good command in written and spoken English.
