Description

The Maintenance Supervisor position is responsible for assisting in the oversight and maintenance of the facilities and properties in the areas such as Mechanical Systems, General Maintenance and Grounds upkeep.

This incumbent will perform ongoing maintenance, janitorial, repairs and miscellaneous related duties for the Jackson’s Point Conference Centre.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Assists in developing and implementing operational plans for maintenance, including benchmarks for services and preventative scheduling for the structures & mechanical systems.
• Ensures a professional level maintenance of all property and equipment, adhering to requirements of Territorial Headquarters and relevant government standards.
• Meets regularly with the Retreat and Conference Manager to inform, plan, and discuss issues pertaining to the maintenance of all facilities.
• Works with Retreat and Conference Manager to secure contracts for projects including quote submission and approvals.
