Job opportunity - Herdsperson - Staffordshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Herdsperson to join Hartswood Farming based in Abbots Bromley, Staffordshire. We are a family run, mixed farm with 270 Holstein milking cows who are milked twice a day through a Fullwood 18/36 swing over parlour. The role will cover all aspects of cattle work, milking, youngstock rearing, feeding and working with our vets to ensure the highest level of animal husbandry. You will be required to Keep basic records and compliance up to date.

The ideal candidate must be punctual , honest, trustworthy, self-motivated & capable of working within a team or on your own initiative. You must be able to demonstrate experience in the agriculture and dairy Industries. You will be a confident individual who has a high attention to detail and strong communication skills. You will need a full UK driving license & proof of UK right to work.
