An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new band 6 Clinical Leader in Theatres at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.  We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated individuals who will develop and lead both the team and the service.    

We have monthly education/development half days, a dynamic theatre management team and significant investment planned in our infrastructure and innovative electronic patient care recording systems.

This post is predominantly administrative and titled Governance and Risk Coordinator, it is likely the post will be 80% administrative and 20% clinical.  The successful post holder will be involved with reviewing and actioning clinical incidents, undertaking investigations, sharing the learning with the teams, supporting staff with Governance queries, and supporting our Departmental risks.  They will attend Governance meetings as representatives for the Department with and without Clinical Theatre Managers.
