IT Manager – East Midlands (Derbyshire)

Highly tech-enabled and rapidly growing automotive sector component remanufacturer, seeks an experienced and dynamic IT Manager to take ownership of their IT estate. The IT estate serves circa 100 employees in a range of departments including, Call Centre, Workshop Operations, R&D, and packaging (goods in/out).

Due to the mission critical nature of their technology use, the role is based on-site.

Ideally you will have a background in IT infrastructure (Servers / Networking) and have 2+ years’ experience in a similar IT management role. In addition to traditional Microsoft stack applications and hardware, you will also be responsible for bespoke diagnostic equipment.

The client is re-insourcing aspects of their IT from an MSP and has several projects in plan, including MDM install / roll out, Windows 10 to 11 migration, SQL Server upgrade, BCDR overhaul, infrastructure cloud migration, security assessment & improvement, SharePoint migration... More Detail
