National Highways have an excellent opportunity for a Business Services Team Leader to join our Traffic Orders team in the Operations Orders Team. This role focuses on the preparation and promotion of Statutory Orders, Notices and Agreements, delivered under the appropriate legislative framework, in order to safely maintain and improve traffic flows on the Strategic Road Network, and to deliver improvements that support economic growth and local communities.

The role can be based at either our Manchester or Birchwood office. However, if based at Birchwood, the role will require travel to our Manchester office.

What youll lead on

Manage the delivery of timely and accurate Traffic Regulation Orders to support effective, safe and efficient delivery of the Routine and Scheme Programmes, to time, quality, and cost.

Deal effectively with objections received in relation to Statutory Orders, and organise and attend Public Local Inquiries, where necessary.
