What we expect
Oversee the kitchen staff, delegating tasks and ensuring efficient workflow
Collaborate with the head chef in creating and developing new menu items
Train and supervise kitchen staff
Assist in managing inventory levels for food and kitchen supplies
Coordinate with suppliers
Work with the head chef to develop and monitor budgets
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
Assist in creating staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all kitchen shifts.
Manage kitchen staff performance
Assist in planning and executing culinary events
Lead by example and demonstrate strong leadership skills in the kitchen.
