For our renowned client, a global leader in the chemical industry, we are looking for a Process Design Engineer (m,w,d)!

Project start: asap

Project duration: 3 months with the option to extend

Location: Allschwil, Basel-Landschaft, Schweiz

Workload: 80-100%

Responsibilities
• Designing units and equipment for thermal separation processes
• Development of the specifications for the process equipment such as columns, evaporators, heat exchangers, pumps, and more
• Creating PFD’s (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&ID’s (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)
• Design and specification of safety devices such as PSV (Pressure Safety Valves)
• Setting up process specifications for various instruments like control valves, on-off valves, pressure and temperature instruments, among others
• Formulating process control narratives
• Active participation in technical meetings, including P&ID’s review sessions and HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) sessions
