Job Description: We are seeking a meticulous and hardworking Laundry Assistant to join our team at The Briarcroft. As a Laundry Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests receive fresh, clean linens and towels during their stay. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Sorting laundry and ensuring proper handling of different fabrics.
• Washing, drying, and folding hotel linens and towels.
• Inspecting linens and towels for stains, tears, or damage and removing damaged items from circulation.
• Operating laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area.
• Keeping track of laundry supplies and reporting any shortages to the Head of Housekeeping.
• Ensuring timely delivery of clean linens and towels to housekeeping staff.
• Upholding hotel standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
