Description

1. Assisting the Purchasing Manager in sourcing for suppliers, procuring items requested and arrangement of delivery of goods and materials.
2. Assist and advise the team of any actions needed to coordinate movement of goods from camp to its intended destination.
3. Be familiar with heavy equipment and vehicle spare parts, building materials and other items that may be requested from time to time by the operations center.
4. Liaise and coordinate with suppliers and to ensure timely delivery of supplies.
5. Maintaining knowledge of market/industry trends and conduct market research to identify pricing trends.
6. Evaluate offers from suppliers and negotiate better prices.
7. Ensure documentations are up to-date and in order.
8. Ensuring all health and safety, as well as Company policies and regulations are followed at all times.
