The Elst department is one of the more than 1,300 local branches of the National Association 'De Zonnebloem', a national volunteer organization
Guests of De Zonnebloem sometimes have an extra need for social contact due to a physical limitation. The approximately 25 volunteers of the Elst department are there to maintain personal contact with our guests and to maintain their contacts with the outside world, and are committed to preventing social isolation.

You can also become a volunteer at De Zonnebloem.
