We are seeking an enthusiastic Specialty Doctor in Oncology to join our team at Torbay.

This post is to complement upcoming workforce changes and develop new models of care across the Peninsula. This is a full time, fixed term position of 10 PA's per week for a period of 12 months initially.

The oncology specialty doctor role is integral to the provision of safe and timely care to cancer patients, primarily in the Turner Ward inpatient setting and in the nurse led chemotherapy day unit but also in the provision of support to consultants in outpatient clinics and the achievement of cancer waiting time targets.

The post holder is required to actively participate in the supervision and training of the junior doctor staff and to assist with the rota.
