Overview

Element, a leading player in the Testing, Inspection and Certification sector has an opportunity for a Development Engineer – Test Engineering team based in Hitchin, UK. You will be part of a team developing innovative solutions to existing and new technologies across a range of laboratories.

Some travel to other Element locations will be required. The engineer position must be proficient in a number of core business and technical skills including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
• Ability to design, detail and build test rigs, fixtures and instrumentation for laboratories in multiple sectors
• Provide training and supporting documentation for newly designed equipment.
• This will include hands on mechanical / electrical installation and instrumentation activities.
