Job summary

Scampton ward and Carlton Coleby wards are a health care of the older person's ward that specialises in caring for patients over the age of 65 with frailty & complex care needs. The role of the health care support worker is working alongside and under the supervision of a Registered General Nurse you will undertake a range of duties supporting the Registered Nurse with providing high standards of individualised and holistic care to the older person.

With a basic general secondary education, you will be able to demonstrate key skills in literacy and numeracy and be able to manage time effectively. You will also have good communication skills; be able to use your own initiative; and work effectively on an individual basis as well as part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team in a demanding and busy environment. You will have a flexible approach to work and must be able to undertake shift work.
