Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mine Planner to join our client's dynamic team. As a Senior Mine Planner, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic and operational mine plans, ensuring the efficient and safe extraction of minerals.

Key responsibilities:
• Create and optimize short-term and long-term mine plans
• Conduct mine design and scheduling activities
• Monitor and analyze mining operations performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mine plans align with production targets and safety standards
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior mine planners
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in mine planning
• Honours Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology or related field
• 5 years experience in underground mine planning with a background in geological modelling in mining operations
• Proficiency in geological modelling software such as Minex
