Description:

The Intermediate Structural Designer is responsible for executing the technical requirements of the detailed drafting design of Structural components associated with process modules and equipment including 3D models and 2D drawings. The Intermediate Structural Designer generates structural drawings for modular skids, pipe racks, and off-skid structures. This position interfaces with the respective drafting coordinator or technical lead as well as the respective project engineer and provides progress updates to the respective drafting manager. Structural Designers are responsible for complex, and confidential 3D modeling, as well as design and drafting. This requires a moderate-to-high degree of skill and a thorough understanding of basic engineering principles. This position makes limited decisions regarding work priorities, procedures, and recommendations on utilization of junior personnel.
